Neighbors -- Renewing Mennonite community

About Neighbors
English (USA)

MennoNeighbors is the group once informally known as "Urban Ministers." It grew out of a need to provide mutual support and counsel to congregations, church employees, and concerned individuals who are facing challenges in relating to a reorganized Mennonite Church in its USA and Canada incarnations. A Statement of Purpose can be found by clicking here. For more detailed information go to our MennoNeighbors FAQ. Other historical accounts, along with some discussion of issues, can be found at the Jericho Road blog.

The most recent general meeting of MennoNeighbors took place 4-6 November, 2011, in Lancaster, PA., hosted by Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster. The discussion page is now being discontinued, but a MennoNeighbors Facebook page has been set up, where interested members may still check in if they wish.

The remaining balance in the MennoNeighbors bank account has been transferred to the general fund of the Mennonite Congregation of Boston, in gratitude for the services of their treasurers over our active years. Thanks to all members and congregations who have made contributions in the past.
